#ProElitePro Steve Meadows owns and operates Meadows Quarter Horses in Staunton, Virginia, alongside his wife Becky. Born and raised in Staunton VA, Steve comes from a long line of horsemen. Not only is he a trainer, competitor, and judge at AQHA competitions, he has served on the Professional Horseman Committee and Professional Horseman Council for the AQHA.

Mr. Meadows is an All-American Quarter Horse Congress Champion seven times over and has been part of the Ranch Riding movement from the onset, already winning multiple Congress and World Show titles in the relatively new discipline. His integrity and outstanding reputation have been long-admired by individuals spanning many roles in the horse industry. One of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet, we are thrilled Steve choses ProElite® feeds as a part of his winning formula.

“The biggest thing is quality. Our caliber of horses has to have the very best nutrition. The owners and customers expect that. Through investigation and experience, this ProElite feeds brand has created a top-of-the-line product that I’m sold on. It definitely is an asset to our program in regards to their conditioning. Horses are athletes, and ProElite feeds supports the nutrition program athletes demand. We will never overlook the nutrition program for our horses. I come from a long line of old horsemen, and I’ve fed beet pulp forever—when it used to have to be added to the feed. So anytime we can keep our horses fat, slick, and round—with a high-fat, low-energy beet-pulp-based feed—that’s a plus. It’s the perfect mixture for our horses to look their best.”
